Pen + Pine

Pen+Pine is the culmination of a lifetime of diverse interests: my illustrations are the marriage of my love of creating, the natural world, and teaching. Illustration is the simplest way for me to communicate ideas to a broad audience, in a way that draws people in.

I am inspired by the natural world and by the communities around me, and especially from my daily walks around our little coastal town. My aim with my illustrations is to remind us all to slow down, follow our curiosity, and appreciate the whimsical nature of everyday objects.
